Overview 

Dr. Veerendra Sandur is a lead consultant - Medical Gastroenterology who is currently practising at Aster RV JP Nagar, Bengaluru. Prior to joining Aster RV, he was practising at Fortis Hospitals, Bangalore as a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist. He has presented many publications as well as papers for which he has received many awards. He is a member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology and the Indian Associations of Paediatrics. Education:

Dr Veerendra S has completed his MBBS from Govt Medical College, Bellary, Karnataka in 1996, and stood second in final MBBS and a gold medal in community medicine. Further, he did MD from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore and DNB from National board of examinations, New Delhi, in 2001. In 2007, he completed his DM in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from BYL Nair Ch Hospital, Mumbai and did a fellowship in Hepatology & Multi-Organ Transplantation from Toronto General Hospital, Canada between Jan-2008 to Dec-2008. Dr Veerendra is also trained in Endoscopic procedures. Dr. Veerendra S is one of the best medical gastroenterologist in Bangalore.

Work Experience:

Dr Veerendra S started his career as a junior resident in the Department of Pediatrics at Vani Vilas Children’s Hospital& Bowring Hospital affiliated to Bangalore Medical College, Karnataka between Mar 1998 to Mar 2001. Later, he joined SDUMC, Kolar and VIMS, Bellary as a lecturer. In 2004, he started working at TN Medical College & BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai as Senior Resident. After his DM, he started working as an Asst. Professor/Consultant in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Narayana Medical College & Superspeciality Hospital, Nellore.
