Overview

Dr. Manjunath Malige is a chief and senior consultant in Endocrinology at Aster RV, Bengaluru. Education

Dr. Manjunath Malige obtained MD (Internal Medicine) from Bangalore Medical College and MRCP (UK) in 2005. In 2010, he gained MRCP in Endocrinology and Diabetes from the UK and obtained CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Internal Medicine in 2011.

Work experience

Dr. Manjunath Malige started working as Pre-registration house officer and Senior House Officer in General Medicine at VIMS (University Teaching Hospital), Bellary between 1994-1996. Later, in 1997, he served as Senior house officer in General Medicine at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kolar. After completing his MD, he was appointed as Registrar in General Internal Medicine at Bowring & Lady Curzon Hospital and Victoria Hospitals, Bangalore between 1998-2001.

Dr. Manjunath Malige served as a consultant in Diabetes and Internal Medicine, Speciality Hospital between 2001-2002. Later, in 2003, he served as Senior House Officer in Elderly Care and Diabetes and Endocrinology at Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway, Scotland, UK. In 2004, he was appointed as Senior House Officer in Critical Care and Gastroenterology at Royal Preston Hospital, Lancashire NHS Trust, UK.

Later, in 2006, Dr. Manjunath Malige was appointed as Senior House Officer in Oncology and Elderly Care at Royal Preston Hospital, Lancashire NHS Trust, UK. His experience and vast knowledge earned him to gain various opportunities at Royal Blackburn Hospital and Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Lancaster Morecambe Bay NHS Trust, the UK as Registrar in Diabetes and Endocrinology between 2006-2007.

He has worked as a senior consultant at Aintree University Hospital, Russels Hall Teaching Hospital, Warrington General Hospital, University Hospital Of South Manchester, and University Hospital of South Manchester.
