Dr Chetan Ginigeri is a highly-experienced Pediatric Intensivist with 15 years of experience in the field. He did training at the national and international level and one of the few Intensivists in India trained to take care of children who underwent organ transplants or in need of it. He is one of the Best Pediatric Intensive Care Specialist in Bangalore, committed to providing the best medical care. 

His interest in state-of-the-art Pediatric critical care had earlier led him to Kings College in London. He was trained in Advanced Pediatric Intensive Care. King’s College in London is one of the top 30 universities in the world. 

Dr Chetan Ginigeri did graduate and post-graduate training at two of India’s premier medical training institutes - the Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Puducherry and the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh respectively.

Earlier he was the head of the Children’s ICU at Narayana Hrudayalaya and later the dept of Pediatrics at PeopleTree Hospitals. As part of his work, he found that the amount of unintentional accidents in children is on an alarming increase in recent times, and child protection is increasingly becoming a new problem for public health. He has authored a book “PLAYFUL – an ultimate guide to child safety” to bring to fore this issue causing death and serious disability in children. 

He is also a proud recipient of the Rotary Vocational Excellence Award for the Year 2013 for his contribution towards Child Safety and Paediatric Critical Care.
